First: monitor, or complete system?
Hollyland sells two different kinds of product under similar names, and the product title alone will not tell you which is which.

Rule of thumb: if you already have monitors on set, buy a transmission system. If your monitors are the thing you are short of, buy transceiving monitors — and budget for two.

The cheapest way into the Pyro ecosystem that still does 4K30 and scales to four receivers. Smart Channel Scan finds clean spectrum without menu-diving, and the receiver works as a plug-and-play webcam over UVC. HDMI only — if your camera is SDI, step up to the Pyro S.

Nearly a mile of line-of-sight range, and the transmitter holds a stable link to as many as twenty receivers — you add monitoring positions as the village grows instead of buying a second system. Transceiving monitors cost more per unit, but each one can be a transmitter today and a receiver tomorrow. For an owner-operator carrying their own kit, two identical units is a simpler bag than a transmitter, a receiver and two monitors.
