The standard camera plate for the Letus Helix. For general purpose use with small to medium weight cameras. This is the plate that is shipped by default with the Letus Helix. If you are using a medium size camera (ie, C100 or C300) with the Helix Jr., this is the plate you need. If you need one for heavy and/or long cameras, we recommend the Heavy Duty Camera Plate.

Helix Jr. with C100 is awesome!
Once I got the unit balanced the first time it became really easy to balance. I love it and would recommend it to anyone that needs one for a C100/C300! You can control your camera by rigging the C100/C300 handle as your right handle. There's a site called GearDads that has instructions on how to do this.
Does what it's supposed to do
If you're using a cinema style camera with the Helix Jr. this works perfectly. I do wish there had been the option to select the type of camera going to be used with the Helix Jr at the time of purchase and the appropriate plate had been included, simply because I could not use the Gimbal the day it arrive because the plate shipped with the gimbal was too small. That said, I have nothing but rave reviews, not only about the gimbal but the level of service I have received from this company!
